Swim in the ocean or watch the many pods of dolphin swimming. You can visit the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, see
the "Lost Colony" play, visit the Wright Brother's Memorial, climb the giant sand dunes at Jockey Ridge, hang glide, fly a
kite, kite board, play miniature golf, or visit numerous lighthouses. The fishing is great; from a boat, beach, or pier. Shop
at outlet stores in Nags Head, build a sand castle, or take a ferry to Ocracoke Island.

wading beach/playground.
